Thuringian mountain railway (Obstfelderschmiede – Lichtenhain – Cursdorf)
The Thüringer Bergbahn is made up of two sections. One is the funicular railway section from Obstfelderschmiede valley station to Lichtenhain summit station, and the other is the upland route between Lichtenhain and Cursdorf. Both run every 30 minutes from 6:30 am to 8 pm.
Schwarza valley line (Rottenbach – Katzhütte)
The Schwarzatalbahn (Schwarza Valley railway) is served by one train every hour from 6 am to 9 pm.

Transporting bicycles
Schwarzatalbahn
Transporting bicycles is free of charge, but trains can only hold a limited number of bikes.
Funicular railway
Bicycles can only be transported in the funicular's passenger wagon, and passengers require a ticket for them
